Learn about food safety certification at the upcoming Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Workshop for specialty crop growers on October 20th (9:30am to 1:45pm) in Somerset, KY. The program shares information with growers about the USDA GAP (and GroupGAP) Certification options. Historically underserved farmers and small farmers are encouraged to attend. This is a great program for producers to consider if they have interest in expanding their marketing options. Join the Grower - Buyer Meetup following lunch to make new connections and hear details on what buyers are looking to source locally. Workshop is free and lunch is included.
