Soil Health and Conservation Project ManagerOAK’s Soil Health and Conservation Project Manager is a full-time position stewarding OAK’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Advancing Markets for Producers funded project. The project will support the production and marketing of commodities through activities that provide technical assistance and voluntary financial incentives to Kentucky farmers to implement practices that improve soil health and on-farm resilience while providing environmental co-benefits. The project tracks and markets the impacts of these practices while developing regional demand for products. Responsibilities include working with USDA, collaborating with project partners and engaging with clients to ensure the delivery of project activities on time and on budget, with a focus on operational excellence and compliance with federal funding requirements. The ideal candidate will be adept at adaptive management and results-driven, and will have a strong aptitude for cultivating transparent and trusted relationships.
