Unbroken Ground KY Farmer Panel Discussion

Event Description:

Watch the KY Farmer panel discussion hosted by OAK, Slow Food Bluegrass, and Edible Kentucky on advancing regenerative, organic principles in The Commonwealth. The farmer panelists Bree Pearsall from Rootbound Farm, Jessica Hodges from Modern Heritage Farm, and Laura Freeman from Mt. Folly Farm share their perspective on what regenerative agriculture means to them and vision for organic farming in Kentucky.

KY Virtual CSA Fair

April 16th-30th, 2020

Event Description:

 

This statewide CSA Fair was organized in partnership with Kentucky Department of Agriculture and Kentucky Proud, Bluegrass Farm to Table, Edible Kentucky Magazine, and Kentucky Horticulture Council. It was hosted on Facebook and connected over 55 Kentucky farmers with more than 900 attendees to share more about CSA (community supported agriculture) programs in their area. 

OAK's consumer events work to connect Kentucky eaters with more local, organic farmers in order to build a more organic, regenerative food system.
